My name is Robert Barnes and I’m an author who focuses mainly on realism, regardless of the genre.
I enjoy taking readers on turbulent journeys within the eyes and minds of the characters.

My path to this calling was by no means a straight one to say the least.
Writing became a dim light in a dark place for me and slowly blossomed into a shining star.
I truly believe that in many ways each character saved my life in more ways than one.
